He needed to be in a older 12 valve down there. No way would I attempt going or living somewhere that has no clue how to repair.I use to get weird Datsun's/Nissan's in the Downtown Atlanta store.200sx we had 2.4 liter OHC with EFI and in drives one with a small 4 banger gas tractor motor under the hood with DRUM brakes on all four wanting warranty work!(came out of Peru) Heck could'nt get parts for it if they had a big GOLD Master card,LOL Had to 'match up' a oil filter for it.

I know... but there's no law against removing emissions equipment for vehicles being driven on a race track

I didnt ask him about mexico. i just asked him what the prices where at the place they were staying. he gave it to me in colones and litres. LOL, you are asking a montanan to decifer the latin american currency system and the metric measuring system.
1 litre = 0.2642 US gallons
so 250 colones = 1 litre
so 4 litres = 1.0568 gallons close enough for me 4 litres = 1 gallon
so 1000 colones = 4 litres and 1600 colones = 4 US dollars
1000/1600 = .625 so .625 * 4 = 2.50
so $2.50 a gallon
My math could be wrong, if i could look up all the details and had the time to get the wheels turning in my brain i might be able to make heads or tails of it.
Honestly i dont know if he filled up in mexico. he has a massive tank in his bed as well as that Transflo under frame tank so he's got some incredible range. if he did fill up there it was way south of the border. It pretty cool thinking about all this stuff
