ATS Co-pilot

Hey guys I'm about to install an ATS co-pilot on my truck and my question is when I do the transmission relearn do I need to change my truck back to stock settings or can it be left with programming still installed? Thanks for any help y'all can give me.

I am not sure I understand what you are asking Sir?

I have an "ATS Co-Pilot" on my 2006 Dodge CTD CR and it has been on the truck for almost six (6) years. Once the unit is installed there shouldn't be anything you have to do with the programming on the "Co-Pilot." This also applies whether you have a stock or modified transmission.

Hope that helps you some.

Sorry for the confusion I meant when I do the relearn do I need to remove my smarty programming and set my truck back to stock settings? I have stock trans. And the instructions on install said once installed I would need to get the trans. Relearn?

hello I got a 08 2500 with the 68rfe with all deletes done im running the smarty jr67 i just bought a bd line pressure booster being driving around with it for a few days now and the manual says that I can make the trans relearn the shifts pattern just by driving with light throttle. or if the vehicle is equipped with a scanner I can run the clutch volume index it has a hard time shifting into 5 or 6 gear so my question is how do I know if my truck got that scanner there talking about I know I can run the key 3 times and if there any code they show up on the so or is there another way of doing it. not to sure if I can make that trans relearn by using my tunner or would I have to bring to the dealer and get them to do it any info would be appreciate thanks
