Scheid Diesel has done some work with the 6.7 conversions mainly on off-road Dodge Sled Pullling Trucks. You can give them a call @

Just Alil curious, but why would you p-pump a 6.7? After the money you'd throw in parts to convert it, you'd have some serious money to make a bad --- set up with the cp3 system

I'm curious too. What is the motivation for P-Pumping a 6.7?

The OP may need more fuel than a CP-3 or two (2) CP-3's can provide.
This is especially true if he is doing any serious sled pulling or drag racing as in those areas the P-Pumps are still king.

Haisley Machine also P-pumps their 6.7 "Super B" engines. You can contact them also.

John,

How much more fuel can a P-Pump flow vs dual CP3's?

Subscribed...........

I'll be pumping mine, mostly because I have a 6.7L with no fuel system or ecm. And conveniently a nice 12v in my garage to rob parts off.

Not true John, unless you run a sigma pump. You can get some pretty big CP3 and injectors for the CR. Most 13mm pumps are strung out at 850-900cc's.

Rob, how much power you going to run? I would at least run a decent set of rods. Pure diesel power has the front gear box housing in-stock for the 6.7L, the trick is getting the one that all the stock accessories will fit.

You going to run the stock 6.7L head?

Mike,......you know I respect you and everything you have done Sir.

BUT,....what I have said is TRUE and you don't need a "Sigma Pump" to get big fuel. Scheid Diesel builds them ALL the time and if they can't get enough fuel from the 6-cylinder P-Pumps they can go to the 12 cylinder based P-Pumps which many of the top sled pulling trucks and tractors have done.
Just so you know, right now there NO TOP SLED PULLING TRUCKS (Scheid, Haisley, Atleys, Eric Stacey, etc) that are running CP-3's on their engines![nonono] They are ALL running P-type mechanical pumps to power their trucks Sir! If you don't believe that call them or try to attend a major diesel sled pulling/drag racing event like Scheid's or T&S and see for yourself!

Yes, the CP-3's can deliver some high H.P. but right now they just don't put out enough volume to support the 2,000 or so H.P. these trucks need! Eventually, the day will come, but right now, it is NOT there yet Mike!
If it was, all of those names I listed would probably be using them!
