2008 6.7 smarty with dpf
anybody out there running the smarty jr tuner that still uses dpf filters? I really want to delete but this might be my best option so I pass the visual inspection in case I get yanked over

I'm running the H&S MiniMaxx with the DPF tune myself, using just the "Tow" mode.
So far on three tanks of fuel I'm seeing no issues with the DPF still installed, and I've gained 3 to 5 MPG depending on driving conditions on winter fuel. I've been so happy with it, I can't wait to see what its like on summer fuel.
I also have the delete pipe, just in case.

Not running it myself but know a few who do with good success.
Along with unplugging the egr you should have a very reliable truck. (There's ways to stealthfully "unplug" the egr valve and pass visual inspection)
If you want to pass visual inspection on the exhaust then consider doing the stealth deletes. The write up is about halfway down the page here: http://www.carbonitecummins.com/articles.html
