07' 6.7

Picking Up A New Rig This Week.
07' 3500 Q-cab Srw 4x2 3.73
Currently Have An 04' Of The Same Flavor W The Edge Juice.
Getting About 17-22 Average Depending On How Much Towing During The Week.

Looking For Advice On What Controller To Go With On The New Rig. Milage Is The Main Focus For Me, And Of Course Power And Smoke
Are Always Welcom....but Again, Milage And Over All Drivability
Are What I'm After.
In Town/stop And Go 5 Days A Week, Then 500 Mile Round Trip On The Hwy Every Weekend.

Thanks In Advance

If your wanting guages and on the fly adjustablility go with the edge hot juice w/attitude. Or you can go the bd power pup route currently the only two routes i would take man not to say their wont be better mods available in the near future though.

Has anyone posted any feedback on using a programmer on a 6.7l and the impact on regen's (due to extra fuel / soot)? Also, isnt the 6.7l showing worse mileage overall than the gen 3's?

Just playing devil's advocate.....nothing against the 6.7l...

Another point of view....given the other post on here with the J/A truck posting a 14.0 qtr mile time....go for the J/A.....we all know it's got a ton of safety features and obviously it'll haul the mail.....

I think the biggest unknows are how much the trans can take and the impact on aftermarket fueling and dpf's....and it's going to be quite some time until we get enough data to really understand either....go for it and enjoy....just stay away from boosted launches and drive like a sane individual....or expect to tell us the weak points of the trans! :-)

i havent done any mods and only have 600 something miles on my 6.7 but ill tell ya that i absolutely love the truck. I would expect to lose some mileage in comparison to your 5.9, just a heads up. Some ppl are getting some really crappy mileage with the 6.7 but not to many.
At this point, if i had to have a programmer by tomorrow i would get the Edge/Attitude, but im not planning on modding my truck until my warranty is up and i see what kind of affect it has on the DPF and what exhaust replacement options there are. I dont wanna have to foot the bill for a new DPF, them things are expensive
