guys I'm running the xzt box and the truck seems to be running ok, but the check engine light is coming on and off. I'm getting a code of p 0498 anyone know what that means? thanks

 

P0498-NVLD CANISTER VENT VALVE SOLENOID CIRCUIT LOW

 

im sorry for the incorrect post, the code was p 0148

 

did you use dieletric grease on the connections??

 

yes I did, it runs strong, but the gas mileage dropped a lot

bama, well no i am not right now .. i was curious about trying it .. i assume the xzt box is purely fuel pressure .. and i am a little afraid of codes .. i was wondering if anybody had tried that and what kinda succeses they have had .. or should i just be a guine pig .. ..

Blackdodge, did you try eliminating the XZT by using the bypass switch to see if the codes go away? I'd be surprised if the code didn't go a way, but worth a try regardless. FYI, my fuel mileage sucks even with the xzt. Getting at best 15 mpg on highway and my overhead says 19.8. The extra power is nice though.
