I'm runing the X2 standard box with the rotteck. No problems & a little better low end response than without the rotteck.

Did you down load the Max Mileage upgrade and are you using it on that level? If so, do you get a engine knocking?

The X2 has the City mileage program uploaded to it. I've found that for my setup, the 60hp setting on the "city mileage" program is the best for mileage all around (including some towing). I still get a faint injector rattle from the city mileage program, but not as bad since I modified my waste gate actuator to hold more pressure. Before I had the mileage program, I had no rattling what so ever.

Not a lot of input on the Rokk, do they really work?

On average it's a +0.5mpg increase. Doesn't sound like much, but for little money, it'll pay itself off in about 15,000miles.

Yes, they really work, at least on my '05. The lowend throttle response was noticeably improved. The truck even sounds a little different...a little more "diesel-y". You can also do the "tone ring mod" to accomplish the same thing. I've been using mine with my Quad Standard adjustable box with no problems.

I was one of the first to get one from the guy in 04 and then i did really notice a milage jump and a good bump in the lower rpm range, mostly right off idle. But thats been years ago and ive never messed with since, it's always been ok with my mods and i seem to get better milage than lots of other people that i talk to. I can get 22+ pretty easy- i know its a 2wd short bed but...if the tone ring offers the same result go that route, it will be free and the additinal timming makes a good diff. in these engines. IMO ~Ryan~
