It is actually a KMC rim in the XD series. I just ordered the KMC Badlands XD series and it is on backorder. I haven't heard anything bad about KMC, lots of people run the KMC Monster and Rockstar.

I run KMC XD Rockstars...love 'em![guitar]

I have the diesel series, get lots of compliments about them
|
I run these and have beat on them pretty good off road.....

I run the 18x9 Black Rockstars and love them. Some of the XD series rims have the more proper offset as well.
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=164043 Pay no attention to the chrome step bars. I have line-x'ed bars on now. |
any issues with their 17s clearing the calipers/rotors?

I think some do. If I'm not mistaken the Diesel have issues, but not with the Hoss. |

I've got the 18" RS's with BFG AT's, I've been beating on them pretty hard the last couple of weeks hauling heavy loads in the bush, no problems so far (crossing fingers) ;)
pic'd hauling 1100gal of good ol 1202 https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/.../500/fuel1.jpg |
20x8.5's with 305/55's, leveled out

The 17inch diesels wont fit right. Believe me they were a pain in the rear on mine. But all the others will fit. I got mine for next to nothing so thats why i made mine fit.
|
I have a set of 20 x 12 rockstars chrome on one truck, and 20 x 9 monsters black on the other and I really like the wheels. I did have one problem with the rockstars, but XD handled it and haven't had a problem since.
|
go with the badlands....look badass..hopefully gettin some for x-mas
|
megacabrule, let me know if you get the badlands. I have been looking at them so if you get pics let me know. Also what size were you going to go with?

Just mounted my wheels and tires. 35's (Toyo Open Country ATs) around 22's with just a leveling kit as talked about in a post above.
Must say I'm very pleased. I had 35's (Toyo OC ATs) around 20's before and got a slight rub at full lock and was a little nervous that the 22" combo would be worse, especially since the new 22" rims were 1/2" wider than the 20's that were on my truck. I did my best to find the right fit and am happy to report no rubbing at all. Zero, nada. :) Will let you know how they hold up over time. I pull a 35' 5th wheel toy hauler to the sand dunes that, when loaded, weighs a lot.... |
