It is actually a KMC rim in the XD series. I just ordered the KMC Badlands XD series and it is on backorder. I haven't heard anything bad about KMC, lots of people run the KMC Monster and Rockstar.

BlackSunShyne 08-28-2007 07:51 AM

I run KMC XD Rockstars...love 'em![guitar]

Megacab07 08-28-2007 10:14 AM

I have the diesel series, get lots of compliments about them

ptgarcia 08-28-2007 10:56 AM

I run the 18x9 Black Rockstars and love them. Some of the XD series rims have the more proper offset as well.

Pay no attention to the chrome step bars. I have line-x'ed bars on now.

I think some do. If I'm not mistaken the Diesel have issues, but not with the Hoss.

The 17inch diesels wont fit right. Believe me they were a pain in the rear on mine. But all the others will fit. I got mine for next to nothing so thats why i made mine fit.

blackbullet 12-02-2007 09:15 PM

I have a set of 20 x 12 rockstars chrome on one truck, and 20 x 9 monsters black on the other and I really like the wheels. I did have one problem with the rockstars, but XD handled it and haven't had a problem since.

megacabrule 12-03-2007 11:31 AM

go with the badlands....look badass..hopefully gettin some for x-mas

KKB 12-03-2007 12:27 PM

megacabrule, let me know if you get the badlands. I have been looking at them so if you get pics let me know. Also what size were you going to go with?

Just mounted my wheels and tires. 35's (Toyo Open Country ATs) around 22's with just a leveling kit as talked about in a post above.

Must say I'm very pleased. I had 35's (Toyo OC ATs) around 20's before and got a slight rub at full lock and was a little nervous that the 22" combo would be worse, especially since the new 22" rims were 1/2" wider than the 20's that were on my truck. I did my best to find the right fit and am happy to report no rubbing at all. Zero, nada. :)

Will let you know how they hold up over time. I pull a 35' 5th wheel toy hauler to the sand dunes that, when loaded, weighs a lot....

Thanks.

I bought the truck with the level kit already installed, so I'm not sure what brand of kit that is. I just looked thru my receipts that the previous owner gave me and didn't see it there either. I'll look on the truck itself tomorrow and see if I can tell. Sorry.... :(

20x12 Rockstars. They are fairly new, but no problems as of yet.
