Wilson intake

What's it look like? Who is using it that can make valid claims?

Wilson Intake

So what is the Intake hose size? I didn't find it on the web site. Anyone know? It's obvious the Intake horn and gasket mount together but you don't cut the intake off for this thing do you? What's that long plate for? It would be nice to see it all mounted up. $490!! Yikes,.. didn't they hear about the recession. Geeez!

Do you have to delete the grid heater?

$490 isn't really that bad considering you get the intake horn and manifold.

After glancing at the instructions...

You remove and replace the factory base plate with the supplied one.

It looks like the grid heaters stay put.

I have one, I think its a nice piece & worth the money
It delete's the grid heater so at 490 thats not bad.
I was also able to drill & tap there base plate for water nozzles for 1/2 & 5/6.
Performance wise who knows. I had the CFM /grid delete before this.
I still feel it was a step up.

I must of skipped over that part.

Do you run your truck in the winter?

If so, how does it start in the cold without the grid heater?

I told my buddy to pick one up for me the next time he has alot of Wilson stuff to order. One thing I know about Wilson's other products is that they are very well researched and tested before they are released so I would assume that the same holds true for these pieces. I just want to help out my mileage when towing.
