i have not herd of anyone putting a header on there truck......

A lot of people have them on but they just call them an exhaust manifold on these trucks.

Weight may be a factor as to why we don't see more tubular headers. The gasser headers don't support anything. The Cummins has to hold a turbo that shakes w/ the truck.

I was reading some Diesel truck magazine, and there was an ad for tubular headers for 7.3 TD Fords. I think the company was called Blown Away - something? The ad said that Cummins was on the way. I did a search and found nothing. It would be cool if it came to be.

Keep in mind, on the 7.3's, the turbo is mounted in the same place you would see a gasser intake manifold...in the lifter valley. i.e. the manifolds don't support the weight, as hemi dart mentioned.

All the header size in the world still has to neck down to those two little holes going into our turbo's exhaust side housing. All that can be done is streamlining the exhaust flow to those holes.
