Why do the doors shake at high speeds?

Everytime I go above 80mph, the doors start shaking as if the windows arent closed or the doors are closed. I mean, its a really embarassing feeling when I have buddies in my truck and I do go over 80mph ever. That feeling also happens when its windy as well.

just the doors or the whole truck? I see you have interco MTs on there. Normally not easy tires to balance

I mean I feel the doors like literally about to come off, like wind goes through them. Its the feeling when you have the window cracked a little open. It might be the tires, as much as I like the tires, ride really sucks above 60mph

Ive had several sets of swampers, several different series of them and your having tire problems. I would go see if you can have them rebalanced. But I have heard that some cannot be balanced.

you need to have a good speed balancer do it. there is only one place in san antonio that I would have it done and it sure as heck isnt discount tire or a local tire shot. it is a place called southwest brake and alignment, they balance while the tire is on the vehicle. Generally this is what you would want to do on a meatier tire or a tire over 35".

my driver side door does the same thing try putting a very very small crack in your window this is the only way i can stop the noise. it has nothing to do with your tires. i think these trucks have bad door seals or sumthin.

If your problem is ferocious wind noise and not tires then all you need is your doors readj/tightened. If you take it to a competent body shop it takes maybe 5-10 min.

mine will do that with a strong cross wind. the opposite door to the wind will howl like crazy, but if it is a calm day, then nothing

Yeah, I would check the speed rating on those tires. Did it do this before you put these tires on?

You can go to NTb and have them balanced. They have a laser point balancer that should clear up your shaking issues

Mine dont shake, but I do get more windnoise at higher speeds, say passing at 85+, im thinking more along the lines of door seals, we all know they arent the best anyway....
