i have a white 2004.5 dodge ram 2500 4x4 quad cab. i have moto metal 957s that started peeling 6 months after I got them. iam now going to powder coat them gloss black. i want a 285/70 r 17 load range E tire that has a rugged look and white lettering. would white lettering suit black rims? anyone have pics of black rims with or without white lettering?

 

Sorry, don't have any pics. But, I think white trucks with black wheels look pretty good. I don't think I have seen that setup with white lettering. I usually prefer the white lettering in, but have seen a couple of trucks where it looks good out. A guy here a the shop has a white '06 with black wheels ready to go on it.

This is my 2011 mega Laramie that I just sold. Black on white is the only way to go!

 

I think it is a great combo. I will put black wheels on mine someday. I have always liked black lettering, white looks like a dirty white wall driving down the road. And is a pain to keep white and looking sharp, but I am real picky with my truck.
