Where can I buy a brush rebuild kit for my Fass?

I have called and left messages with the two of the top fass dealers in my area because they would not answer there phone. I did get a hold of the main fass people and the lady took my info and said someone would call back. That was over a month ago. Tried northern diesel and again no answer so left message and again no return. Is there anyone that actually sells fass parts that I can talk to and order from? A very frustrated customer

Contact Dan,he should be able to help you or even upgrade to the brushless design.

Or you might want to try Vulcan

Have you pulled the brushes and looked at them??

The reason i ask, I've got almost 100K on my fass so i figured the brushes would need replacing, i went thru what your goung threw looking for brushes
after finding some i pulled my brushes and they still as long as the new ones,
i left them in.

Yes I have pulled them 3 times and cleaned the guides. They have worn about 1/4 and have some concerning black on the spring and braided wire as it looks fatigued. Mine have about 40 k on them.

Man, you got the Top Dog. Diesel-Dan said send it to him if you could. I would keep responding in that thread since you have his attention there!

X2 above^^^

Looks like Dan is willing to help you directly as best he can... I think you have to meet him halfway on this. Send the pump to him as he suggested; he offered one day turnaround to solve the issue...

He sure isn't leaving you hanging.

I think Northeast Diesel here in Springfield is a FASS dealer. Give Mike a call and see if he can get them for you.

Why do that, when Diesel-Dan is there trying to help him out?
