I've got 285/75 M/T's. I'm running 67 in the front and 53 in the rear.

I recommend using chalk and driving in a straight line a short distance to determine proper pressure for your set up.

I agree with doing the chalk test. With that said, I ve got my 35's on the stock wheels and have 60 in front and 35 rear. Even at that, the rears still aren't touching the outside lugs when empty.

I run between 37-42 depending on what kind of driving I am going to do. Even at 42psi I still wear the inners down faster then the rest. I am running 37x13.5x20 Nittos, but they are pretty much the same compund.

I'm on my second set of Toyo 35" MT's and usually run about 42 in the front and 35 in the rear. Like above, I see more wear in the center even at 42 psi, which would indicate a little too much pressure. However, with the heavy motor up front, I'm not comfortable going down much lower.

I have the 295/70/17 MT's and run 65 front and 40 rear(empty). Tire patch is spot on and they're wearing great, 20,000 miles or so.

KJP,
Run a line of chalk across the tread (perpendicular to rotation of tire) Then drive a few feet, making sure to get a few full rotations on the ground, get out and check the chalk mark, if the line is warn in the center only, let some air out, if its warn only on the outside, put some air in. As soon as your able to get even wear across the chalkline, thats the best press. to run.

My friend just mounted some 35"x18 Toyo Mt's on 9" wide rims. He initially inflated them to 55# but said they rode like rocks. He's since backed them down some. With the 9" wide rim he's got more room to play with.
