what tc and vb to buy?
 
i want to buy a tc and vb down the road. i have a smarty jr but i dont like how the tranny performs. what tc and vb would you recommend for a 07 ctd? and what brand..

all the big one are pretty good. do a search, there lots and lots of reading on the subjuct.

If all you are planning is TC and VB, you can't beat Dave Goerend.

I would just call around and find what suits your needs....I have a hts valvebody and will go with an hts trans when I need one. THe customer service is top notch.

I've been told if you do TC to do the input shaft as well.


Also was told that my TC would hold with some mild mods (stock fuel system and stock turbo) by a reputable shop in the Houston area. He said just do a VB and go from there.

I have been running the Goerends brothers TC&VB for about 3 years now,it has been flawless.Great folks to deal with and a great product to boot.;) coobie

HTS all the way, every time i go up there i get fed beer and pizza...who can argue with that? when you buy an HTS its like you get adopted into a new family, everyone here that has ever met Dusty and Marianne can vouch for that.
