water in the cab
I have water coming into the cab of my 07 3500 through the grab handles on the A post. It seems to come out of the screw covers. It only happens when it rains hard. I cant find where it is getting in. Any ideas on where it comes in and how to fix it? thanks all.

Do you have clearance lights on top of your cab? if you do, bet that is where the water is coming in.

Yeah, all my buddies' 3rd gens with cab lights all leak into the cabs.

I don't have cab lights and with heavy rains I get water on the passenger side floor board???

Check that the A/C drain is open.

Thanks Mexstan, how do you check the A/C drain. Sorry the highjack of the thread.

I do have cab lights. Not sure how to seal them any better though. Also I'm a volunteer at my local fire department who has a third gen gas Dodge with no cab lights. It also leaks through the handles where would that be coming from? We've never been able to figure it out there either

Third brake light?

My truck leaks at the vanity mirror clip when it rains. I have a CB antenna in the roof and cab lights. I have checked all cab lights (when it was raining) by removing them and looking to see if anyone of them was a culprit. I couldnt see any signs of water at the lights. The Wilson 1000 has a very nice gasket, I dont think that is where it is leaking... I check the third brake light, too, nothing. I was beginning to question the windshield gasket... I dont know if that is a stretch or not... would love to figure this out, too!

My '06 leaks at the passenger grab handle in real heavy rain. My research suggests that the drain for the Sunroof is plugged or partially so. I haven't figured out how to get to the drain tubes to clear them. As the old song says " tomorrow the rain will go away and who needs a drain tube on such a sunny day!

On previous trucks, I've had the foam that seals the ac drain to the firewall shrink and the water dripped out of the tube and followed it back into the cab. A 1/2 inch hose, put on a block and hammered to soften it slipped right on and solved it. It was a challenge to find that leak.

So it took forever to figure out but got it. It was my drain tubes from the sunroof. So up by the door hinges on the front door there's a drain hole for them. It's just a little pin hole so I made it bigger. No more leaking. Thanks all
