Wanting SERIOUS POWER!

I have a 2007 Dodge 5.9 Dually with the 48re automatic. The current upgrades I have area a AFE Stage 2 cold air intake, AFE intake manifold, BullyDog triple dog downloader, and Silverline 4 inch turboback exhaust. I am not really sure what kind of rear wheel power I am getting but I am pretty sure I am pushing the limit of my stock converter and transmission. What should my next upgrade be besides a tranny and converter to get some real power?

Twins and injectors.

If you get an arson 3 kit, or get the II bag of parts, with a smarty, the CP3 will keep up with some 2.5's no problem. I don't know if the BD can control rail pressure like the smarty can.

You really need a tranny, dude.

WUnderwood said it right.... how big is your bank account....

I would start with Gauges if you don't have any. Then tranny, programer (you already have on), head studs + twin turbo (stocker over S4XX depending what you want for numbers), small injectors 50-90hp depending on goal, Arson III/II bag o parts, and what programs/chips stack you perfer. This combo should get you into the 600+Hp range. Still can be a daily drive depending on programs/chip settings.

You want more, go bigger on injectors, twin pumps, bigger turbos, more programming or higher levels + stacks combo.

The question you have to ask do you want a daily driver or only a sledpuller, 1/4 mile truck with all of those mods.

Put a power upgrade plane together "How much power do you want" The rule of thumb goes like this:

Build trans to match what mod's you will do the the engine, Turbo"air", Fuel, what will you be doing with the truck, Towing, racing, performance upgrades start with the tranny on these dodges... Good luck!!
