Undermods people have studs?

Undermods people have studs?

This may be dumb? but what are the studs that people use in their mods? are you replacing head bolts with stronger studs? Do studs hold that much better? do any 3rd gen 5.9 diesels have bolt/stud problems?

over 50 PSI you should have them. Its better to fix the problem before it happens. Im getting ready to do mine cuz im right at 50 now, and soon im getting injectors too so ill need them

over 50 psi boost? what do we have from stock? studs or bolts and whats better? why do some have orings?

im not too sure about o-rings, some people swear by them, and some say its not needed. from stock, im pretty sure they are bolts, but this is my first diesel so someone will correct me if im wrong

stock boost is like 26 psi i think. but with a fooler i was getting around 45.

bolts are stock. the studs apply more clamping force to the head to allow for higher combustion pressures in the cylinder which comes from running more PSI and bigger injectors. the o-rings are to create a ring that is clamped tighter around the cylinder edge.
