Twins and Bypass Filtration

Can Twin turbo's and a bypass oil filtration system be done to the same truck? I'm thinking about both but not sure how the oil feeds hook up.

Some twin designs require that you use a remote oil filter. Amsoil makes a combo (one mount, using two filters, one full flow and one bypass) mount so you can have both. This is the set up I use. Then use one of the two plugs at the top of the regular oil filter mount on the engine block to run the lines to the turbo.

Where did you mount the Amsoil filter combo?

I mounted horizontally on the frame under the passenger side front door... had lines made at the hydraulic shop to reach the distance. The only drawback to that location is that I am limited to the ea100 (as opposed to the larger ea110 or ea120) bypass filter due to space. However, it is a wonderful position logistically and very easy to reach to change filters.

No, they do not need to be above the oil pan... pressure drives the system.

I have a fs2500 and bd tow twins and I am using all the ports available on the filter mount. The factory turbo port feeds my primary and one of the 1/8 npt ports feeds the top turbo. Then I used a 1/8 npt 90 deg. fitting, to fit under the coolant line, to feed my bypass filter.
