twin cp3s or just one
i have a 2006 dodge trying to go for 800 to 1000 hp have a silver bullet on it a tst a smarty custom super dragon flows and it is time for the pumps but i am wondring should i do the twin cp3's or should i do the super cp3 (aka the grand Pooh-bah) well if any one can help please let me know.
Brett ran the cp3.4 in his truck for awhile and made some killer power with it, the fass truck is running a cp3.4 and a stg 3 in a dual setup WOW!!!!!!! I like the idea of twin cp3s and not having to run a single one at max capacity all the time longevity has to be taken into consideration. Two pumps are then new norm and thats the way i will be going. Also all twin setups I have seen are a good bit cheaper then the cp3.4 is and I believe easier to install.
yea i read about that truck and that is crazy if i do the cp3.4 i would only do it as a singal i dont care about the work wise like how easy or hard just which one would be better or worse i kinda want the super cause it would be crazy fuel but idk
Their are more trucks in the 800-1300hp range with the dual cp3 setup then their are with the cp3.4 theirs got to be some reasoning for that. I will got with what is proven and it looks as if duals are the way to go.

Cost and results right now im leaning towards the Evil diesel kit $1600 without pump and they have two trucks stock pumps i believe both 1200+hp. Relentless Kit they are right down the road looks good too and the price is just as nice. PPE, ATS, and II all run a close race imo. I will probably be going Evil or Relentless when it comes time.
That's the "Evil Twin" kit only available through Midatlantic Diesel Performance.

Not so
The FASS truck has two of them, per Brad. But then that truck is severe overkill in every facet of modding. If you ever get a chance to see it then don't miss it.
The Super CP3.4 is a great pump but you need a great set of injectors and alot better hp fuel deliver to the injectors than stock. I will be running both the Super and a set of Dual Pumps on different trucks this year. Huge airflow or alot of nitrous is needed to burn all that fuel....very efficient high volume twins or a big single with a couple stages of Nitrous will do.
The super pump has the ability to deliver fuel alot faster than stock dual pumps so the high pressure fuel ramp up is alot steeper which is harder on injectors...I'm sure rail pressure is in the mid 30's with the super on peak. I know with the DRB plugged in for tuning I would hit 26.8kpsi (on a 22.4kpsi ECM request) the max reading at about 2/3rd gopedal (30psi boost) and it would stay pinned there till I dropped below 1/2 skinnypedal.....and I would peak at 70psi boost at about 7/8skinny....If I did WOT I'd peg 80psi on drive and boost pressure. This was with both 62LPM 3 flows or Flux 3.3's. The 3 flows delivered more fuel but they were alot more smokey all the time and volcanoed up easy. I'd have to use Howes regular (meaner kleaner), seafoam, and standyne mixed in every tank to keep them clean. You just can't daily drive these huge fuel flow systems and keep them running in their ideal burn temperature range. Kerry

o well today i called and talk to brady and he said that since i was putting a cam in my truck any ways he would do the cp3.4 and sell me a set of injectors that flow 100lpm and i think that i will just buy a twin kit and put my stock one on the top ha should have more than enough fuel o and the injectors cracking brady said is not true inless you are running with two many pressure boxes he said you just have to watch out and be safe but he said nothing beats the super cp3
