Twin cp3's

Anyone tried a set yet?????

masonic-dodge 12-09-2006 10:43 AM

I can't tell you a answer yet, but I have a friend who has a set that he is going to put on shortly. It looks like it should be a great system if we could get 2 rails on the truck insted of running both CP3 into one 1/8" line.

Cris,

What kit does your friend have? PPE?

masonic-dodge 12-09-2006 10:46 AM

Luken

It is a PPE.

A few more kits are going to be out shortly... With a better price;)

We have come up with a way to run TWIN CP3s and TWIN RAILS to get the full fuel flow out of the CP3s[guitar] [guitar] [guitar] What good is a pair of CP3s if you are still going to try to run all the fuel through a single 1/8" line:( Only time and a dyno will tell if our system will work as good on the truck as it does on paper.

So what I would need to do is purchase 2 stock cp3 new or in GOOD condition used and have them modified. Now I am talking some serious fuel.
Have one rail per 3 cylinders. two rails total

Perhaps we don't need twin CP3s but rather twin rails. The new Lvl 2 Cp3s can really put out the fuel. I would suppose everyother line is blocked off on each of the rails so each rail hits 3 cylinders. Sound right? That would give Stacked ( no offense to Pamela Anderson[laugh] )[laugh] a whole new meaning wouldn't it. The problem would be keeping the rails close enough to the stock position to maintain equal lenth feed lines to each injector. Just thoughts.

You guys are Sic[laugh] That is way too much fuel for a grocery getter.[coffee] Cris are you just putting studs in the empty rail outlets....That was my Idea but now I'm thinking a 2" billet rail with big feed lines to my firehose size connector tubes. Any body have the part numbers for the 6.7 piston and rods....:o . k.s.

Luken 12-09-2006 01:49 PM

abc,

How much $$ are oversized connector tubes?

chw 12-09-2006 02:33 PM

i ordered the PPE set. how much time and money would go into twin rails? has anyone done it?

abc4yew 12-09-2006 03:53 PM

Luken, about either $300 or $625 for EDM'd ones if I remember right. $625 seems to stick in my mind....The little filter is removed and the overall diameter is much larger 100% maybe at the tip and 200% at the threads. They definitely take away that restriction....I can't say if they made a huge improvement but they do increase the volume of fuel sitting in front of the injector. Big connector lines are needed in my opinion...bore the rail holes and double the injector feed lines and even more volume will be lined up. ks
