It is mostly going to be street driving and pulling my 5th wheel,, it is a jayco eagle 341 rlqs. I am probably going to be stacking my bdpp and the juice too,, i really like the bottom end that the bd gives me. by the way,, which is a super b?? (being dumb here) also I notice that there is a phat shaft 62/14 in the classifieds,, would that be a good turbo?
That would probably be a good turbo, however the sps 62 might be better. then depending on your budget twins would probably be the best for you application. The super b is a switzer turbo by BD.
my budget is a bit limited,, I am just in the middle of putting out for a new tranny, fass fuel system, and I just bought the edge. How much difference do you thing between the 12 and 14?
I dont really know, never had any experience with that. I would say that the 12 will spool quicker, but not have the cooling effect especially in the upper rpms. the 14 would cool better but have more lag.

thats what I am worried about,, of course I want the million dollar answer,, lol,,, how do you think lag will affect when pulling a heavy trailer?? I think my unit is about 12k empty
Htb2 62/12
I went with the High Tech Turbo HTB2 62/12 based on their recommendation and I have not been disappointed. Nice daily driver manners with good giddy up and go under a load. The stocker on the 03 HO is ?/9 if that helps any.

if you get a 62/14, there is the option of getting a super. the difference is the standard 62/14 is just that. the super gives you the chance to send it back and they will machine the compressor housing, change the wheel, and make it a 66. so it can grow with your mods.
No experience with this turbo but I tried a 14 housing on my 95. It is at approx the same power level as a stock 600. It was a miserable ride. Belched black all the time and took forever to spool! The 12 is definatly the way to go for a daily driver. I tried pulling a car for my neighbor. probably a 5k load including trailer and still wasnt spooling well. Switched to the stock 12 housing and love it.
If you up the turbo give us an update. I need to upgrade my 600s because of towing EGTs but I need a bolt on because of the exhaust brake.
