Turbo Back or Cat Back

Turbo back or cat back is it worth voiding warranty on Turbo back? Also I like the look of the dual exhaust any pro and cons? Looking at the Magna flow 5" turbo back? Thanks

I wouldn't do either.
Why chop off a brand new 4" stainless system? Cuz you like the looks of duals? [nonono]
I'd just change the muffler.

07Dually, I pulled my stock xhaut out w/o choping to bad. I had to take a cutoff wheel and put slices where the factory pipes came together. They wouldnt come apart. But anyway I got the MBRP duals and I like them. First it started as a catback. Then bought the torque tube . Then I bought the test pipe. When it was just a catback it wasn't loud at all. Put test pipe in and it was alittle louder. But now that I put a new turbo on it, sounds really good but around 2k its getting alittle drone. But for me I'm willing to live with it. The only thing is if you pull a 5th wheel, guess the brackets will interfere with the xhaust. So not for that application. Also on the left side the pipe to the leaf pack and the shock is alittle tight. I got rattle when I first put it on but just had to do an adjustment. Important, The driver rear brake line on mine I put up and over the pipe and put some sparkplug insullation to help prevent heat. Little taught. But when I put the turbo on it made it just that more taught cause it pushes it back an 1" or so. So I pulled the tailpipe and ran the brake line under this time. Hope this helps you out some but also doesnt scare ya. But also there is I think silverline and pmt that does the dual xhaust.

I went with the 5" MBRP turbo back. Its not loud like my truck was straight piped and doesnt have the droan, but when you stomp on it opens up nicely.

If you pull I would just cut out the cat and muffler and replace with a splice as said above. The 5 inch will actually hurt your low end , bad for towing, and when you figure the cost of the 5 inch and the benefit it gets better from the stock 4 inch, it is basically wasted money. Unless of course you just like how the duals look, I would love to blow smoke from both sides!!!!

Remove the cat, but keep it I you need to put it on. Then put on your muffler if you don't want it too loud. IMHO,taking the cat off makes a bigger difference in all around performance than just removing the muffler. I tried it both ways.

if you have a dealer local thats cool they arent gonna say much if you have exhaust doesnt matter how big. if they are sticklers they will probably ask about it. 5" does take away some bottom end. but does good with lots of mods

The CAT is the choking point of the system. I would leave the muffler or a muffler in place.

Jesse,
Why yes I do. Still recovering. I think it was the sickest I have ever been. Pneumonia hurts!
The baby was also sick after me but he is/has recovering well.

Thanks for asking.

Turbo or Cat

On my 06 that I had. I had a MBRP with cat 5" I thought that was load. I just dont want to **** off the Chief next door. Screw it. I'll figure something out. Talked to the exhaust guy yesterday about doing turbo back he sad it would leave to much soot (sp???) Should I really care??? Also talked to the dealer, my feeling is that if I did anything to the exhaust they could void my warranty I told her to check that out just to make sure (DumA**ES). Kind of limted on dealerships that I can bring it to. Especailly the one I bought from. Whats up with p1ss is that a bad word? It automaticaly changes it
