got my new injectors.looking for advice on a new turbo. i tow my skid steer/trailer about a dozen times a year-any other towing is light duty. any insight much appreciated.

 

I would look at the Garrett Powermax Stage 2.

 

Sounds like you haul heavy. A Garret or an Htt 62/65/13ss. Those sticks with the Edge Juice are going to make the EGT's run real hot. I would recommend a Smarty Sr. to replace it with. Juices run real hot with factory sticks, they have mucho injector duration.

 

I missed the E J/A in the sig.. I agree, swap it for a Smarty or Smarty Jr.

 

I agree, I put the Smarty Jr. on my set-up and it made a HUGE difference in towing EGT's. I still have the stock turbo as well (saving for twins) I think if you swap out the Edge you might be surprised how cool you run.

 

Edge Juice only runs high EGT's with their "Hot" tune.........I've towed all over the USA with mine on lev5 and below with nary a problem, and that's with the "old school" SPS 62.

 

You have an 03 and a turbo... can't compare that to a 04.5-07, even one with a turbo.. The E J/A runs hot on 04.5-07 trucks.

 

Sorry, I missed that in his sig..........your right to a point, cause if I remember correctly, the "600" and newer series versions of the Juice eliminated the fuel pressure curves and are solely timing/duration.
