tuner box question (injector rattle)

I put a banks tuner in my truck today and noticed that the motor rattled a little more. If I unplug the box the rattle goes away I was told that it was the injectors from high rail pressure, but I thought that banks kept the rail pressure in normal operating perameters. I had a banks tuner on an 03 and it didnt rattle like that. Are the 04.5-05 motors that diff. If it is the injectors is this going to cause premature wear on them. does anyone else with a tuner notice this to. My truck only has 400 mi maybe break in has something to do with it.

Send it back. Do a search on Banks, they seem to have some ugly problems on our trucks. I keep reading here, and other sites, of MAJOR mechanical failures related to Banks products.

Just my opinion, I have never owned any Banks products, and have no personal dealings with them. I just keep hearing, and reading, bad things about them. Kinda like going over to one of the Ford sites, and reading about all of the problems with the 6.0. I would avoid Banks, just as much as I avoid Fords.

To many other proven products out there.

Again, just my .02

Well I've read about ONE truck having a engine failure with Banks turner and there are TWO sides to a story. In fact over time I've read a LOT more problems with OTHER turners MANY times.I read SEVERAL forums almost on a daily basis and have for a number of years. If somone dosent like a certain product thats fine(I think TAGS are a waste of $) but don't over embelish it.

its the advanced timing most likely
but call banks
sit on hold for a half hour
then you will understand why many dont like them

ya your not kidding about being on hold. I did give the a call and they didn't know why it rattled like that i hope it is the timing and not the injectors. I still don't know why my 03 with banks on it didn't do that. I have usually had good luck with banks but this time I am a little disapointed.:(
