Question TST with different timer...

I've had a Howard's cool down timer on my truck for a while now, and I recenlty installed a TST without the timer. I've run into a problem with my timer now.

When I set the timer and turn the engine off, it will run until the TST remote (and box, I assume) loses power. All of the lights stay on the dash just like the timer is still running things the way it should be, but the engine isn't running.

Has anyone else run this cominbination? If so, where are your fuses tapped for the timer and for the TST?

For record, I was sent instructions for a 98-02 engine, so I downloaded the instructions for the R49 code and used the fuse taps in the location stated there. I noticed that for the TST timer, it's supposed to be tapped to the same fuse that the Howard's is, so I'm wondering if I need to double tap that fuse.

Any clues?

if you have the non-timer TST, you have to tap into the fuse box in different fuses than the R49. My TST doesn't shut off immediately after the key is turned off and my TTM shuts the truck off. My TST is still powered up for 2-3 sec AFTER everything else is off.

I used the instructions for R49 as they were the most recent. Those instructions state that fuses 27, 36, and 50 should be tapped. My Howard's timer uses fuse 50, so I knew that I wasn't going to use that one for any reason. The instructions for R47 state that fuses 27 and 28 should be tapped.

At the moment, I have fuses 27 and 36 tapped for my TST. Should I change them to 27 and 28 based on the R47 instructions?

Update for anyone interested, or that may run into this same problem.

If you're running the R47 PMCR, you need to use fuses 27 and 28 as called for in the R47 instructions instead of the 27 and 36 that are called for in the R49 instructions. I re-tapped 36 to 27, ran a test, and the timer functioned as it used to.

Just and FYI for anyone that is running R47.
