Well, I own both as well as others in the past and each have their pros and cons. Not here to be part of any programmer war, just help the guy out if I can.

Be careful with the low end fueling and removing torque management, it is hard on trannys even when built. Fuel mileage will suffer too with the low end fueling.

I have a manual transmision so i dont think i can turn low end fueling on because its not an option. Torque management is an option, but i skip over that option because it says its for automatics only. If there is a way to turn low end fueling on for a manual transmision i will try it, just not sure how to? Thanks

I have the same issue w/ my BDTD, at about 1500-1700 rpm it has a power band that causes almost a surging issue and I've found that I couldn't drive around it, low end fueling made it worse. Keep in mind I have an 03 and BD really doesn't perform on our trucks like it does the newer models 04.5+. Whoops, nevermind I'm seeing you have an 06.

Thats what I figured but I run an EJA so I figured my IQ was a little lower than most....

.... On second though, maybe I should start the "Couyons who run an Edge Club" and I could make myself number two... or wait would that be number one.

Not trying to upset anyone, just having a little good natured fun

And for anyone wondering what a couyon is, just ask a Cajun....

On mine, I enabled the feature where it asks "do you want more throttle response" and it will jump on anything from tow setting to Crazy Larry. I can't tell from your sig if you have an auto or a manual trans. Does that comment in your sig line stating 6 shooter mean you have a manual trans?

It is only for the auto and man what a difference it makes! My truck is a ball to drive just on Tow/Economy mode.

hmm, yeah i wish i was able to enable low end fueling, but when you select whether the truck is auto or manual and i select manual, it does not give me a low end fueling option
