Any help on the subject would be appreciated.

I did some extensive checking awhile back, and no one was making one at that time. I checked Daystar, Prothane, etc.

That Sucks! Oh well, I have this bad bounce in my suspension. Even sitting still, if I push down on the back of my trucks suspension you can see the whole transfercase bouncing up and down and continues after I stop. I can also feel it going down the road when I hit short abrupt bumps in the road. It feels like something is hitting me in the rear about 3 or 4 times after the bump. Got under the truck yesterday and took a close look at the mount. It didnt appear to have any cracks in it. I guess I will try going with OEM mount again.
I did start noticing it after I pulled a sled the other day for the 1st time. It doesnt help the matter when my transmission shifts either. It shifts hard, but I like it! Wonder how much one would tear up going with a solid mount????????[duhhh] |
I have the same question! I have a lope in reverse that u-joints helped, but didn't eliminate. I hate to replace my mount with the same junk. I had the tranny mount out today and easily moved it between my finger and thumb. In my search tonight, I did find a polyurethane kit from an Energy suspension reseller and I'm thinking about using the medium hardness to fil all the voids to make it stiffer. Just need to dig up a spare to play with. The kit is here;
