also i just have the stock exhaust and i was wondring if the 5in turbo back would be over kill because the guy by my house has it and i really like the deep roar it has to it

 

Yes, 5" would be overkill for what you're trying to do. You probably won't gain much more out of it but the sound. If it were me (and in you boat) I'd take that extra 5" exhaust money and put it towards another tranny upgrade. If you've got the transmission down already to do the TC (at a bare minimum), you might as well do the VB and flex plate.
