Trac bars
wow those look nice and burly. the axle end looks bigger then the heim on my thuren bar, is that a heim of sorts? not sure what year you built them for but mine needs a bend in it for clearance to fit right.
The shorter set is going on a 2008 f250 and the longer set is going on a 2004 f250. Shorter set is 1.75 dom tubing with ballastic ends and the other is 2" dom tubing with the same ends.
They look nice.Only thing I see is being you didn't put a heim on both ends its not gonna be possible to preload the bars. Most have a right and left hand thread heim to accomplish this.If preload wasn't a concern then they are great.Like already mentioned, nice fab skills.Very clean looking!
THe ones on my truck are adjustable heims on each end, but this is the way the two guys wanted these built. I actually have a left hand threaded bushing joint on one end of mine.

Preloading is basically like the turnbuckle effect to adjust the length. By putting some pre-load on the bars, you can keep them from rattling under no load as well as removing any slack so you don't feel the movement when you accelerate.
hey coope3, i just visted the link in ur sig...u definetly have skills. very nice work!
not to bust ur b@lls
question,...y didn't u radius the corners on the mounts for the traction bars that weld to the rear axle and mount to the frame?

Radius the corners? The corners are cut on angle and ground if that is what your talking about. I the weld area was ground at an angle before I welded to get a good weld on the axle. I may be missing what you are talking about though. Please eplain if I am doing something wrong, I always need some good constructive criticism.
