If you have a stock, or close to stock transmission itll slow you down into the breakdown lane. The tq managment comes on the trucks from the factory, its DC solution to their junk trannies, it cuts power untill you get going.

Right..and Bullydog lets you take the torque management off. What acook is telling you is don't do it if your transmission is stock as it is hard on them. If torque management is removed you have much stronger bottom end power but your drive train may not handle it for long.

Wink torque management BDDL

Like Luken said, don't take the torque Management off. I would also not take it off, even if you have a good trans. The only exception, is when you are at the track. What it does when you take it off is, it stops the engine from de-fueling
between shifts, and is hard on trannies. Normal driving and road rages, you should leave it on. IMHO. The same goes for the low end throttle/torque option
and best used when racing at track.

Your not understanding this. Your truck, and all other dodges have a feature called TQ management, just like they have the 48RE tranny. So with the bullydog you can remove the tq management your truck has on it, but thats a bad idea. You can also turn a setting on that will give it low end power, thats not such a good idea on a stock tranny either. Probaby why your sliping in 3rd

tq management

so just to be clear, the tq management is always on unless you turn it off? but does the tq management only applies to trucks with the autos, correct?
