Torque converter fluid change
Torque converter fluid change
I have never done this before so I'm asking. To do a fluid change do you just drain from the bottom plug and then fill at the top plug until it's full. Exactly how do you get the fluid into the top fill hole
with 53K does this need to be done at all.
and am I getting this thing mixed up the the transfere case.
thanks
Jamie

Jamie,
I believe you are referring to the transfer case. Yes you just drain it from the bottom plug, then the put the bottom plug back in and remove the top plug and refill to the top plug. Real easy.
There is no way to drain the torque converter. I believe it just drains when you drain the tranny fluid.
