Thoughts of the INTERCO TRXUS MT tires?

I can get my hands on a set of 33/12.5/17 used interco tires for $180 a set with about 10k miles on them and plenty of thread left. Load rating E. Since the snow/winter doesnt look good so far, its been in the 60s in Chicago and should be in the 50s all throughout mid december and so we wont have much of a winter, are these tires any good for snow or highway use? How will they compare to my stock 265/70/17 BFG Rugged trail with 50K in the snow, mud, traction?

I had them on my 1/2 ton and they were awesome. There is a member on here that has them on a dually and he loves them also.. For that price I would do it period! If you don't give me his number and I will call and take them..

so they will outperform my stock tires with 50K on them in the snow and still be decent on the HWY, you think?

LOL

No comparison with stock tires with 50K in snow!

Get them!

I like em on my Wrangler, but question the wear/vibration/road noise on a 7400lb truck.

Interco Mts were my 2nd choice - I didn't like how rounded the shoulders appeared.

Are you sure they're E rated? The site you gave, http://www.intercotire.com/site35.php, says only 3085 max load and 65 max psi. Thanks.

Toyo makes E-rated Open Country MTs for a 17" wheel with a 4300# weight capacity.

if you want to have a blow out and put your truck into a tree - TRXs are the tire for the job! Seen one first hand separate at the bead. They will never be on my truck.
