Thermocouple Fittings
Thermocouple Fittings
I've got an Isspro pyrometer with the thermouple and 10' of thermocouple wire. There is NO compression fitting on the thermocouple. The directions suggest drilling and tapping a 1/4 NPT pipe thread to install the thermocouple in the exhaust manifold. I'm short the fitting. Can anyone tell me where I can get one?
Thanks!
Thanks!
If it's a 1/4" probe, just go to a hardware store and get a brass 1/8" or 1/4" MPT by 1/4" compression connector. There's a drill bit that's a few .000" bigger than 1/4" - it works perfect. It's either a letter or number drill, I don't remember which. I've done it several times. That's all you'll get from Isspro. It will cost about $5 with the bit. Craig
