is there a demand for G56 transmissions

are there enough breaking that one could possibly get rid of an extra G56 tranny with ease.

i have a chance to buy a G56 tranny and the 271 t-case i need, but I wanna know if it will be possible to sell the G56 since i dont need it.

moderators- this is not a for sale ad, im simply inquiring from the 3rd gen guys if there is a demand for the G56 transmission

I would not think there is a huge demand for them yet.
but people are crazy and break newer stuff all the time.
I bet you could unload it on E-bay pretty easily

I think it would be nice to have in a mud runner or rock buggy.

what a waste, the POS selling tried to outbid me to jack the price up until it was at least $500 over the reserve price, and he ended up going so high that he outbid me. and I know its the seller because his name is "ilovesharla" and amazingly someone named "sharla####" was the winning bidder

worst part is i wanted that t-case so bad i bid $600 more than the reserve and that wasnt enough to buy it...this person must really think he has a gold mine.

i sent him a nice letter congratulating him on his new purchase of the item he already owns.

If that truly happened that person can end up in jail! I would have Ebay investigate the situation.

Why? Why would e-bay care. I thought that they charged for the 'ad' and did not even care if the item sold or not. I'm not an e-bayer so I don't know the rules.

I am pretty sure E-bay has rules against that! I would notify them. My wife e-bays all the time and they seem to be on top of like that. The few "too good to pass up" deals I have had her bid on for me turned out to be frauds (an ultra rare Camaro once and then some top-end off shore fishing equipment) and e-bay caught them before it cost me any money.

It's called "Shill Bidding" and is illegal and eBay does investigate this on a daily basis. If you report it to them through the Safe Harbour section they will investigate. You may never hear from them if they got caught or not but you can keep thier User ID and if it suddenly shows up as "No Longer a Registered User" that means they got caught.

I have been eBaying for about 7 years now (mostly as a seller) and have seen it MANY MANY times.
