Does anybody have aftermarket taillights for the 07 ram installed I really like the TYC brand but thy don't make them for the 07 yet at least that what I gather from their website.

Plus I wanted to install LED clearence lights but wanted to keep the amber factory housing to stay DOT legal I have tried LED 194 Type bulbs but the white bulbs I got actually were dimmer and had a blue tinge to them turning the clearence light green once installed.
Some advice and Pics would be nice.

 

I have RECON smoked clearance lights....amber LED.

I also have RECON smoked LED taillights....though I am waiting on a couple truck-side connectors to finish up the mounting.

Yes....the 07's are different. I have provided a write-up to Heath concerning the steps needed to fit the RECON taillights on an 07.

Hopefully the connectors will show up tomorrow!

I retained the stock amber cab light lenses on my truck and installed some amber led 194 bulbs. Every bulb in my truck is an led. I got them all from http://www.autolumination.com/ If you want to know specifics pm me. Also, my wiring diagram to make 03-06 APC aftermarket led tails work in the 07 trucks is around here somewhere in a "taillights" post.

 

Smoked LED taillights from RECON look and work great! I am typing up the install guide for Heath, along with a parts list of the little things I did to make the install a little cleaner. Mind you, I am an **** SOB.....out of the box the lights installed nicely, the only issue is due to the known wiring differences with the darn 07's!
