Superlift transmission drop bracket
Just got a 6" superlift and it comes with a bracket to lower the transmission to prevent vibrations. I have a mega cab and am hoping I can get away without installing this bracket and perhaps lowering the carrier bearing instead. Any input?
I'm not too familiar with the mega's and the carrier bearing, but I would think you would have to lower the bearing even with the trans. mount. Because with the two piece shaft, just lowering the trans. doesn't help ease the angle at all on the rear shaft. Hopefully someone with a megacab and the lift will chime in on this.

Mine is just a quad cab short box so I don't have a two-piece shaft. I did install the trans. drop bracket though. But, I'm thinking you would have to lower the carrier bearing some how, I just don't see how the trans. bracket will do any good.
I have found that with Any long bed quad cab or Mega cab, that when you do a lift you should doa 1.5" to 2" drop on the carrier bearing. It helps a lot with vibrations at take off.

There is no trans relocation bracket
I have one in my garage.(trans drop) I have a 1 piece rear drive shaft, the long beds got the 2 piece d-shaft with the carrier bearing. Do all of the 2007's have 2 piece rear driveshafts? I'm guessing the mega cabs are built on the long bed frames.
Didnt know there was a bracket to drop the transmission. I know there is a indexing ring to clock the Tcase down, and also the spacers for the carrier bearing.
I dont see how spacing the transmission down would help the front driveline angle, just because only the back of the transmission will come down, unless they had drop engine mounts. Dropping the back of the transmission by itself would put the front DS in even more of a bind...
