Do those of you with experience with BOTH the Super B Twins AND the Silver 62 single feel the extra cost is justified?

I know the II Silver 62 by itself is a much better turbo than a single BD Super B, but once two Super B's are added, it changes the game. What I want to know is if the performance difference between the two setups is worth the extra cost of the twins.

 

Oh heck yes it's worth the cost for the BD twin kit. Spoolup in all honesty is close to the same but EGT difference is where the twins really shine. Not to mention lower drive pressures which are easier on parts.

 

Having run the Super B's, they are well worth it! No single can compare to the driveability of twins...at least none that I've found! And I've tried a lot of them!

jstiegler can answer that one...he has had them all. Stock, a 66, a 62, and BD twins.

I will give a hint...YES!

 

I love my twins. I'll never own another diesel without them. And I really do abuse the heck out of mine.
