stock cp3 800 hp ?
 

A guy on another forum ( not a truck forum ) is telling me Banks said the stock cp3 is good for 800 hp ? (sidewinder project )

Well I,m on this forum for what ,2 years or 3 ,I don,t even know how long ,but I ve learned some things here from you guys ,and I told him the stock cp3 could only deliver +-550 hp

What do you think?

Also this guy said a brazil head is good for more airflow ? anybody can tell me anything about this ?

Maybe on the sqeeze it would for a second but highly not. Even a Stage 1 pump that would be pushing it.

From what I've seen/heard about, you can crowd 600hp on a stock cp3 with #2. I imagine a snort of sqeeze would jack it up a bit but probably not 200hp.

relentless did 800 with a stock cp3 and squeeze on one of there trucks. however they did do the cp3 gear change to speed up the pump but the internals of the cp3 where stock i belive.

According to the diesel-specific HP calculators mine has around 600-650 RWHP. The 1/4 mile times and trap speeds say ~600hp at 7500lbs. At 8000lbs it would be ~650.

This is on the original stock CP3 and, until the TNT/R tune came out, it was able to hold rail pressures around 24k at WOT. I'm not saying that's the norm, just what I've experienced.

my stock pump was only good for 526. Just couldn't get any more than that for me.

I believe luken made way over 600 on stock cp3

800 is hard to believe. I think your pushin it at about 625hp even with nos. But I've been wrong before.

Alot of guys say alot, but the most important is show me the (sheet/graph/curve) or whatever. I can make 90000 hp but can I prove it? 800 on a stock cp3 guess I wasted alot of cash, haha.

Low 600's with an OEM pump...

I did 677 with a stock pump and N20, but I can't see getting a whole lot more. Perhaps with more RPM it would give you the extra power.
