I also have the SOS steering brace for Steelbiz. Reason I put it on, local dodge dealer that sold me the truck said needs steering box. Well I just brought the truck from them, had it in for a wheel alignment. As dont have the right heads to do it myself, only ones for semis at work. Got the brace thru work, installed, took back, oh guess what, steering box doesnt fail this time you clowns as the so called place is gone cause the shaft doesnt move back&forth now, haha I said to myself. Forsure have to grease the brg once & awhile.

Finally got my Steelbiz stabilizer installed. WOW! What a difference. There is a spot on the highway just up from my place where everybody wanders to the right from the contour on the road. After this install with no steering input, other than holding the wheel straight, she tracks straight on through. I would say to the forum that this is the singlehandedly the best mod you can do to a Gen 3 Dodge. So simple to install and took about 45 minutes to do.

The difference is price. BD is starting to become like ATS, too proud of their product (most they don't even make) and horrible customer service/support.
I bought a PSC stabilizer for about $200 WITH shipping. A recommendation from the guys at Carli. A very quality product!

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
I like tools so I don't mind buying the socket and having it on hand. Another option is to stack combo wrenches for leverage. Or you can buy a sacrificial combo, cut the open end off and slip a pipe over the beam. You will need to torque to 185ftlbs so you need something sturdy to pull on.

You don't need to get rid of it. If you can't put the new nut on yourself just swing by a shop and ask them to put the nut on for you. Should be a few minute job.
