Stacks and truck caps.

I'm the type of guy that really likes function over form. Case in point, a truck cap would benefit by keeping all of the things I haul dry. I really like exhaust stacks though. They don't really serve a purpose other than to look cool. Has anyone tried or even thought of putting exhaust stacks through the top of the cap? I'd probably use 48" to clear to roof. I'm concerned with sealing around them and exhaust getting trapped in the cap. Would this be worth it or am I just dreaming? Need opinions.

It is possible, I would think. Cut some holes in the cap, take a rubber seal or a grommet, seal it on both sides. Stick some silicone there...The only thing I would be worried about is heat build up.

Yeah, it would be possible just make sure everything is sealed up well. Is this cap one that is at bed rail height or top of the cab height? Bed rail I assume

No, cab height. I don't like tonneau covers.
