Stacking A VanAkin Box on a 2005

I have the duration box on my 2005 and am not real impressed. What would be the best bet to add maybe another 50 or so horses? Don't want to have to put the ATS tranny in yet so the HP has to be kept on the low side. What are your thoughts? I already have the AFE stage II and the kitty cat removed with a straight thru muffler.

The VA3.2 on high should not be a dissapointment except maybe in the high EGT's you are seeing. It puts the power to the ground. Make sure everyting is working/hooked up correctly...or maybe you have the 3.1?

Eitherway...a little fuel pressure and a little timing complements the 3.2 well. Any simple pressure box (EZ, BDTD, Preditor, VA C3.1, etc) will work. A timing pressure box like Banks, Quad's new module (I think this may be the best option), or Ramifier, etc will yield even better/cooler gains.

Also...my VA C3.2 smoked my OEM auto in about 30k. Something is funny with your situation.

stack it with a quad, with the pressure and duration together, it will make a sweet combo

I didn't know you could get a VA 3.2 for the 2005.
I'm with cquestad, you should see considerable smooth power from the 3.2
Something isn't right then. My clutch is no match for the 3.2 on the high setting.

I love my 3.2. Just getting gauges now so I don't get to use it on #2 very often or for very long. Something may be wrong if you are "not real impressed".

Thanks---I think I have been had!! I can find nothing that shows the 3.2 will work on the 05! I agree something i snot right after I read the TDR article about the boxes this month!!

I agree, something must be wrong. my 3.2 is smokin! no pun intended. I smoke everybody that tries any and I am on 35" mud tires:D

Yep----Something is WAY wrong here!! I will be going over to see Quad at lunch today as he is only about 5 minutes from my office!

In the past I have used his stuff on my Duramax and it Rocked!!!! The 215 program with the Duramaximizer and propane really made that thing fly! Got to be careful because I am not ready to put in the ATS tranny yet--$ limitations at the moment!

Boss,
I just posted a comparison (seat of the pants) between the VA C-3.2 and the Quad here . The VA is a great box for pure HP. But, IMHO, the box is not very user friendly for those of us with stock engines. The pure duration (even stacked with pressure) can only be used for a few seconds. So, for my "set-up", I think the Xzillaraider will work out better. However, I have only used the new quad box for on day, so time will tell.
