Can I change to different SW's on different versions of the Smarty software without going to the stock program first? Example being I have SW#5 from the mild, stock injectors/stock turbo loaded on my truck and I want to load SW#3 from the mild, after injectors/stock turbo... do I need to load the stock SW on the truck and then update the Smarty and load the moderate SW? Been searching the threads and checking the MADS site and not seeing an answer.

yes, you have to return to stock before changing the software on the smarty.

A. You can go from any software # to any SW #. No need to go back to stock!

I've never returned to stock before changing programs.

So you are saying that you have updated the smarty with newer software with out returning the truck to stock?

 

Yes, my truck has never been back to stock since I started using the Smarty and I've updated my software at least 6 times. I asked Bob about this and he said no need to go back to stock when upgrading.
