FYI, It appears the upper echelon at Mads has determined the forum doesn't return value to the company and has shut it down this morning.

In the wake of this decision, several "persistent" and knowledgeable individuals have started up the new site ( https://smartysupport.com/ ) to fill the void, provide support and return some "value" to the customers.

So feel free to visit and as usual you'll receive the support you deserve.

Does all this mean that Smarty is on the way out or considered obsolete by MADS?

No they're still selling and supporting the tuners. They just felt the support forum wasn't returning value to the company.

They also stopped supporting the repair ticket system which gave the customer some formal documentation on their support and repair needs. As of now it's being done over the phone.

There is a link in my original post to the new smarty support forum. If you follow the link you can read up on the how's and why's this happened.
