I'm going with the same stack, Smarty on order, am anxiously awaiting it's arrival. Quad is in and I really like it, smooth running little beast. So, will await some replies too.

i've got the smarty/quad race stack. runs like a raped ape! the two components compliment each other very nice. i leave the smarty on 7, and use the race module for adjustablilty.

Hey dodgezilla04.

I'm planning on using the Smarty with the Quad STD module, and have a stock clutch, what would you suggest setting the Smarty on to be safe with the clutch? I would like toget through a few more miles before doing the clutch, and have yet to really study what's available as a good replacement.

I run 50/50 empty and towing by the way. I mostly got the Smarty to get my tires set right and have a little baseline of power to switch the Quad into for a little more. I like the low to mid ranges of the Smarty, coupled with the 1st setting of the Quad, I thought this might be good to go and tow? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

i borrowed a smarty in august, and killed the clutch that night. smarty software is called catcher, for clutch and traction challenger. they mean it. the smarty instructions call level 5 the highest safe setting for a stock clutch. and then stack it with a quad, that clutch is gonna die quick. try the smarty on 3, and use the quad for adjustability, when not towing. towing, i will continue to set the smarty to 1, even with my south bend clutch. the clutch will slip first in highest gears, 5th and 6th before it gets really bad. once it slips, it will go downhill rapidly. the south bend isnt really that expensive, and i have been very happy with it. good luck and have fun.

I think the smarty/tst/mp8 SHOULD net a little more power and much more adjustablility, but at a much higher cost.

The smarty/quad is much, much more affordable and as dodgezilla04 proved makes awsome power, and I am sure it is pretty quick

I run the exact same stack/settings but on an 03. I really dont think you should stack until you get the clutch done, the Smarty alone can burn up a clutch. This stack does pull like a raped ape even w/ my stock(for now) turbo!

What would you like to know about Smarty and MP-8 stacked?

Works great! I ran that way for a month...maybe 4-5k while my TST was off my truck. Great combo.

i can only speak for the quad/smarty. i love it, alot of fun, i can drive like a normal human being and not fog intersections, or i can crank up the quad, and lay down 500+hp.
