I never got any word back on my inquiry, they were looking into it. Does anyone know if the timing numbers are different as well? Been running timing 2, plan on going to timing 4 when it warms up a bit, but since the TQ numbers are different I got to wonder about the timing numbers.

I have ran all the timing numbers and they haven't changed.

Really there is nothing wrong with the Tq numbers, they just got reversed.. and honestly thats better for the average end-user... Default should be the easiest on the truck and you have to manually choose more aggressive options.

It's been so long since I ran my truck without the Smarty, but it feels like the Smarty Jr default torque setting (with the POD set at 60) is still stronger (more fuel lower) than the stock setting. has anyone else felt that, from a seat of the pants perspective?

I'm still getting a range of 14-16 MPG after trying numerous settings, as well as trying to keep my speed below 70 mph on the highway. Not seeing much of a difference.

I'm wondering if the POD somehow alters the basic REVO settings.

I think I may have to try a tankful with SW3, TQ4, TM1 and the POD on 99, just to see if I can see a similar improvement.

quadman20 - on you "all out" setting, what exactly are you running (SW, TQ, TM)?

TIA

Well i can say ive tried SW1 with TM 3 Tq2. SW1 TM4 Tq4 SW1 TM3 tq2 all set with pod at 70 and mileage is at 14.3 mpg hand cac. and 19.4 on the lie o meter.

Ive went to sw3 default 60 pod and seeing what that produces. All speeds are mixed driving and nothing more than 71mph.

EDR I'm running sw3 tm4 tq4 which is now mild and I'll say is holly crap. I just now went down too sw2 tm2 tq4 and it's less but still grabs you by the short hairs oh and if not careful will fog out a neighborhood which kinda un cool so I'll drop too tq to 2 and it more controlable. On sw3 I have some trouble with self control LOL!

Well on sw2 tm2 t4 I'm seeing 1.6 mpgs not as good as sw3 tm2 tq4 but better then stock. Tried POD for a week and gained .2 more so I'll just keep it full Revo and enjoy.

Well I guess I'll chime in. I first tried SW1, tqm-default, timing 3 at 50%. At first I thought I wasn't going to be able to handle all that power, or absence of I should say. What a slug! But after I while I got a little used to “planning” a for a hill (you sure don’t want to start from a dead stop at the bottom at 50%!) Finished off that tank and did not even break 15 MPG with no interstate miles. Bump that. I then dialed up to SW3, tqm-default, timing 4, pod 75. I reclaimed most of that lost power and it was very drivable. Did about ˝ a tank before having to do a 400 mile round trip so I topped off and hand calc’ed a 15.5 MPG with 19.6 displayed overhead, now that’s cool and the highest around town I’ve ever done in this long box quad cab 4X4 285/75R17 sub-compact. Got through with my trip with ˝ interstate and the rest 4 or 2 lane country driving passing through a few towns with lights and reduced speed zones, 20.7 hand calc’ed with 23.8 on overhead. The original software on my Smarty Jr would max out at 19-20. POD rules!
