Smarty jr 100 vs SR 90?

I've got the smarty bug, but don't have the money to stick into the trans. I know that the Jr is said that you can run with a stock trans. I've been ready a while that Sr on 90 has been slipping clutchs & torque converts.

If you set Sr to SW#5 (90hp) with stock or mild TQ would it be safe as Jr on SW#3 (100hp)?

Either would have about the same effect. The "safeness" of the tune is going to depend entirely on how you set up the Revo (don't plug in wild torque management for instance) and how you drive it. You set up smarty jr #3 and go out and drive foolishly and you will tear up your tranny or you can load up smarty sr #9 (I am not recommending you do that, just making a point) and drive conservatively and never have an issue. Make sense?

Does anyone know if the time advance is the same on both? I'm assuming that the TNT on the SR would be more, but that's just a guess.

the timing would not be the same
