I just bought a smarty s06 pod and i was wondering when i install it in the truck, do i just put my edge w/attitude back to stock and then install the smarty or do i have to unplug the edge completly under the hood?

 

I never removed my Edge EZ or my TST, was never a problem. Is the EGDE W/attitude a programmer? If yes, then put it back to stock, if it is just a fueling box, turn it off.

 

juice with attitude adds timing so DO NOT STACK odd smarty tunes with edge or add timing with smarty on revo settings. asking for problems then.

 

You do not need to unplug the edge. It modifiys the signals coming out of the ECM, it does not re-program the ECM.

As said above, the edge gives a lot of timing. If you run them together, keep the timing off on the smarty.
