What codes do smarty owners see. I'm so close to buying and just want to know which codes smarty sets. I realize you can clear them and gain from the updated DC software release, just need to know.
I have read that "check sum error" is common and to be expected. Any others? Hey don't get me wrong this is not a smarty bashing thread. Marco is the man and Bob makes it right. I know this could be a can of worms due to guys using the "other Down loaders" before Smarty. So lets exclude them . I would like to know and I'm sure others are curious what codes Smarty sets on a stock virgin ECM.

 

I only get the 0602 or something like that. It is nothing. Smarties I think will be the ticket for these trucks. It has made big power on my truck. I will be doing so Dynoing this weekend at a Dyno Day to show some big numbers on what it can do.

 

0602 only, code does not cause a negative impact and is cleared upon returning to stock

 

Yup it will clear no problem.

 

the only thing i get is when going from stock to a catcher software, i will get the abs light. as soon as the truck moves just the slightest bit, it goes away. it only does this on the initial load and engine start, never after that.
