how do the supply and return lines hook up to the tank? does this system solve the 1/4 tank pick-up issue?

I talked to Charlie about this...while there could be an improvement on all the fuel pick-up designs...the Airdog should be the least likely to show any effects of it since it would separate the air from the fuel and only deliver fuel....no air till the airdog filters ran dry......

Please help: I need pictures of an install on a 2004.5 ( canister mounted pump). Do I need to drop the tank to connect the fuel line or do I splice the line somewhere suction side? Do I splice into the orginal return line or run a new line to the filler neck? Is there a fitting connection for my fuel pressure sending unit?

Thanks for any tips.

I am debating between the airdog and the glacier walbro. Someone help me decide. The glacier is on sale for 409 here at dtr. Any input would be great.

how much would it cost if you add a water separator and the secondary fuel filter like Airdog has?? plus the Airdog separates air the walbro does not.......for $90 bucks more I would rather have the AD........

I just installed an airdog 150. There is a new pickup tube that needs to be installed in the tank. I advise to lift the bed up enough to install the tube. If you drop the tank you may have the 1/4 tank problem. I installed a bulkhead fitting and relocated the vent line. I then used the factory vent as the fuel return for the airdog instead of the filler tube adapter. There is a plug on the pump that should work for a pressure sending unit.

thanks cool,

That is a killer for me to add a draw straw (aux fuel tank in the bed).

Question for air dog: If I went with the airdog 100 could I get by with splicing the 3/8 fuel line on the suction side of pump and not have to do a draw straw?
